Just bought a mandolin

Kentucky KM380

It is a ton of fun to play, took me about an hour to get used to the micro short scale length but then I was off to the races. (I also play guitar so I have a huge headstart on the picking and chording, I would expect a jump from only bass to mandolin to be a bit more dfficult, but maybe not).

Ran through a bunch of "classic" mandolin tunes: Battle of Evermore, Going to California, Losing My Religion, Copperhead Road, St. Theresa, etc. Also learned some Irish jigs etc.

Any other must-learn mandolin tunes (particularily in the rock genre)?

Later
Rob
