Just got off the phone with my friend...

Who I haven't talked to in almost three months. College wasn't work out for him (he was an Econ. major at Northeastern), so he decided to drop out and join the Navy.

He's doing well, from what I can tell, told me "Boot Camp was fun," which I still find hard to fathom (this is coming from a civilian who loves Full Metal Jacket), and is generally doing real well. Needless to say, it was great to hear from him, and I'm real stoked he thought to call me. Apparently he's in school 11 hours a day, Monday-Friday, and hasn't been in civilian clothes in over two months. What a trip, especially coming from a dude who skipped all his classes for a month because he didn't really feel like going.

It was a response to a post that got deleted. I'm not sure that it should've been deleted, but that's not my call.

If "I'm calling this project 25..." is fair game for OT, I figured this would be too.

It was deleted by the poster, not a mod.

I have fond memories of boot camp too. It wasn't that bad . . . once you get through it.
