Is it just me, or does Apple innovate, while forgetting the basic cool stuff?

Like the new iPod nano's with video. No still capability? REALLY??? They just recently got copy/paste on the iPod Touch, which Apple pioneered in the 80's on the first Macintosh. Posing as "green" when their iPods aren't serviceable by most normal standards. instead, they wind up in landfills... Am I alone in noticing this?

I suspect that Apple innovates, but also engages in incredibly effective marketing.

In my view, it is "green" to make something so small that it can be landfilled at no appreciable harm to the environment. Look at how much energy and material was required to manufacture the same amount of computing power and storage 20 years ago.

...and the new Touch with no camera. I'm thinking a TB app sure would be nice!

Well the green thing, I guess they use rechargeable batteries but who doesn't... Imagine if it took 2 AAAs youd probably 4 batterys a week and they alone would take up more space..

Anyways yes as much as I love apple, sometimes they do stupid stuff.

1 no restore button in the trash bin.. Whats up with that?

2. Well I haven't come up with two yet.. But they do some odd things sometimes..
