And it was everything I expected it to be.
It fell right in line with Iron Man, Hulk, and Thor.
I Can't wait for the Avengers.

Thor was plain terrible. Is CA any similar?

Well peoples opinions differ, but I thought Thor was good for what it was supposed to be. I mean, seriously, even attempting to make a Thor movie was a long shot, so I think it was a great effort.
Captain America was better than Thor tho.
And, I mean, we're talking comics here, there is a lot of suspension of disbelief going on here.

Sure, I enjoyed every moment of Hulk, Iroman or Xman movies, but Thor was so cheesy and rushed that it made me sick...

Iron Man (2008) is still my favorite Marvel movie...but this one came pretty close to knocking it to #2. Already looking forward to buying the Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo.

It was great. One of the nice things about the Captain America story is it had a well defined villain in Red Skull. Thor did too, but with so much back story to do, it was hard to overcome without it being LONG. Really looking forward to May 2012 with the Avengers release!

No way. That movie was cool. I'll check out CA soon enough. Maybe this week while I'm in Texas where it's so hot, you have to stay inside anyway.

CA was as good a comic-based movie as I've yet seen.
Very enjoyable. Great villain and engaging hero.

Did you notice at the Expo there was a red suit in a case? That was the original Human Torch.
I was hoping Sub-Mariner would make a cameo appearance, but you can't have it all I guess.

Edit: They should of thrown Wolverine in as a cameo appearance too, just one scene with him.

Captain American was great! Even my wife loved the movie. This was one you didn't have to be a comic fan to like, everyone going to see it can get it and fall for the hero (or villian, your choice).

Loved the postcredit teaser for Avengers movie. Hope that will be great.

I saw it on Friday. Took a while to develop the story, but I guess that couldn't be avoided. At the end of the movie, I was a happy camper. It was a great movie.

As an added bonus, Benny from The Sandlot played the role of Stark. What a refreshing blast from the past!

Saw it yesterday and enjoyed it. Nicely made, fun to watch.

And in watching the end credits, I found myself reflecting what an incredible conflict WWII really was.

I thought captain America was pretty cool and all, but nowhere NEAR as good as iron man, spiderman, or hulk. It was super cheesy! Still fun to watch tho IMO

I haven't seen it yet but I have a question..........Since Captain America is set in another era, how does he factor in the upcoming Avengers movie? Does he age slowly?

You sure you wanna know? Telling you would sort of ruin the ending.
