Spraying that canned air stuff in your ear, via the long straw isn't NEARLY as good of an idea as it sounds.

Maybe that's what I did wrong. If up is bad then down must be good, yes?

I want to know,...did some of the liquid propellant come out of the can and freeze your ear drum?

You sure? I believe to be truly scientific you should give it another go, you know, for good measure.

That's why I told him to turn it upside down. Sure-fire way of getting that intensely cold stuff to shoot out.

I don't think so. It was much more subtle then that. One minute I was enjoying the cool breeze and the next minute it felt like (and still does) someone had wiped icy-hot on my eardrum. Perhaps some small, undetectable amounts of the liquid came out?

The problem is, I don't have enough ears to have a control group AND test it "can up vs can down".

Yup,...it can happen even with the can held upright.

I worked at a 1hr photo lab and we used to take that canned air turn it upside down a spray a generous amount of propellant into the empty film canisters (the plastic thing a roll of film comes in not the roll of film itself),...quick pop the lid on. The pressure would build and the lid would loudly explode of the canister.

That **** is scary stuff man.
