Just when I thought I couldn't understand MTV any less...

Star Wars: Episode II?

I don't watch a lot of TV, maybe a couple hours a week. I certainly stopped fitting MTV into the rotation many years ago. Some stations just have lost all identity (VH1). But Star Wars on MTV is just.... I don't know what.

Maybe they are changing formats ... MovieTV
It's not like they play that many videos anymore.

I really can't remember seeing a music video on MTV in a loooooong time.

It was so funny when MTV 2 came out, it was all about videos again. It didn't take long for it to be another Osbourne's and Jackass marathon channel.

I'm old enough to remember what MTV was when it first came out. It's only a shadow of what it once was....
I WANT MY MTV!

It's certainly not a "movie that rocks".

I didn't get the connection with VH1 and some of the movies they played...but this is freekin ridiculous. Not only is it not music related, but it's teh suck. Jango Fett my patoot. Oh wait, it's perfect for that channel.

I used to have to walk over to the converter to change channels. And it was uphill both ways!

Same here. I haven't watched it since the glory days of Headbanger's Ball though. Once they started adding all the "reality" BS I quickly lost interest. Real World, my ***.

MTV doesn't have music.

Different name, but a similar show has been on VH1 for a while now. I'd say it's not as metal as Headbanger's Ball used to be, though.
