I tend to switch the channel immediately when I see him. Definitely NOT "my kind of people", nor is he trying to be.

But, hey, if you m'fers enjoy him, go 'head on! He doesn't need my approval!
You should check out Christopher Titus some time. He takes personal tragedy and dysfunction and makes comedy out of it. Now THAT'S art!

IMHO. | He's not typical of the comedians I typically dig (dry, dry humor) but he manages to have an element that crosses over with me. That's a sign of talent to me.
