KFC Double Down...Coming Soon to a KFC Near You

Sign in to disble this ad

This one-of-a-kind sandwich features two thick and juicy boneless white meat chicken filets (Original Recipe® or Grilled), two pieces of bacon, two melted slices of Monterey Jack and pepper jack cheese and Colonel's Sauce. This product is so meaty, there’s no room for a bun!

Just when it seemed like the trend in fast food was to make your menu more healthy....

I know that this has been out at select locations for a while, but now it's going nation wide.

I think that they may offer that as an option in the "combo meal"

If only it didn't have cheese.

'Colonel's Sauce' sounds a bit dodgy too.

That shouldn't be a problem. Just tell them to hold the cheese and the Colonel's sauce (does sound dodgy) and to double the bacon instead.

I work in a kitchen, and i hate it when people just assume it works this way. All the condiments don't have a net value of one, and are not interchangeable as you see fit; it's a menu, order something you like, not something you have to tailor to your liking and waste the cooks time...

now... that said, it's kfc so they don't have cooks anyways, so go ahead. But don't do it at a real restaurant.

What!?!

If I can't order my food the way I like it, I'll eat somewhere else. A cook with that attitude would get fired pretty fast if he worked for me. So you think holding the cheese and sauce on an order is "wasting the cook's time"? Unbelievable.

Yeah, it's pretty shameful to work in a service industry and not understand the concept of customer service.

It should be wrapped in bacon, battered, then fried a second time...plus some deep fried twinkies on the side.

KFC is terrible, worst fried chicken ever...Popeyes owns them, and the local places around here, Chicken Galore, Chicken Holiday...WAY better.
