KFC Has A Bacon Sandwich That Uses Fried Chicken As "Bread"?

Sign in to disble this ad
I was going to put this in the "This Is Why You're Fat" thread, but I think it deserves it's own focus. First, I'd like to know if it's a prank.

Looks legit, but then again, like the blogger noted, it's not on the website:

http://www.kfc.com/menu/sandwiches.asp

Perhaps KFC is only test marketing this thing in select cities?

YUCK!!!!

It'd probably go over well here in Georgia though. Damn near everything has fried chicken and or bacon in it anyway. I'm surprised they don't have either bacon or fried chicken flavored sweet tea. I bet that'd be almost as good as Jack Daniels to some of these folks.

Prepare for a coronary

God Bless, Ray

That looks like the chicken, bacon and swiss sandwich at Arby's, but without the bread. I became well-acquainted with those thanks to tons of coupons in my mail, and put on 10 lbs in a year...

It's probably one of those pictures from thisiswhyyourefat.com. I don't think it's real.

Edit: I just saw it that website. Take a look.

I tend to question everything I read, so first thing I did was search for a somewhat legit source...found this:

bui, thanks for posting that. I'm really surprised they considered that for the public market, since they started a whole new campaign showcasing how "healthy" KFC is.

It's gonna taste great. For those in the link bui posted who wondered how people would eat such a sandwitch, it's called a knife and fork!

That's just plain brilliant.
It looks good.
Healthy too.
All this propaganda against greasy high calorie food is so much bs.
If someone can't eat it in moderation that's their problem but once in a while something like that is damn good and good for you.

Couldn't find anything about it at Snopes. It could be a prank, but on the other hand, "bacon anything" is pretty much the trend right now. You can turn anything into a comfort food with bacon.

no offense, but... i wonder what percentage of these are sold in the midwest. this product brings two things to mind:

1. pancakes and sausage on a stick (old news):

http://www.flickr.com/photos/danbenjamin/181549394/

2. a part of daniel toshs act (if you hate it all, go to about 50sec and hear him make fun of fat people from nebraska):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANsQ0s5wdck

i know tb has some weird bacon fetish, but good lord, i almost threw up in my mouth. then again, i also hate kfc. eh... gross... so gross.
