I thought this was cute. The kid's reaction is awesome. I only wish more adults could be like this kid and realize that, in the grand scheme of things, gay marriage isn't that big of a deal and that love is love:

And there you have it: there are things that are much more interesting in life than a person's sexual orientation - like ping-pong!

The top comment makes a great point - the kid understands gay marriage and politicians don't. Made me lol.

It takes heavy amounts of cultural and societal efforts to make things seem "unnatural."

"So that means you love each other!"

End of discussion. ("I'm going to play ping-pong now...")

Smart kid.

Brilliant!

I did make one mistake tho, and that was reading the comments . . . wow. Youtube never ceases to amaze, and not in a good way.

"You two love each other? I'm going to go play ping pong. You can too if you want."

You're right. He's trying to wrap his head around a situation that he hasn't encountered before, and understand it within the context of his limited knowledge base - which he does brilliantly. I see my 6-year-old daughter go through this process regularly.

Same here with my 5 year old.
Imagine how nice that must have felt for the couple though, to have this kid be totally accepting once he gets it. No judging, no 'eternal damnation" no hate, no derision, just ..."oh ok. you wanna play ping pong?"
If only the rest of the world could be that accepting
