Now it's going to get to the point where you have to have at least 2 useless people working in your company so as to not dscriminate against them.

That was my LAST job, about 10 years ago. I could never go back to working for a company again It was downright scary. Engineers that couldn't do simple trig, receptionists that couldn't speak english, crackhead forklift operators.........It could be the model company for their program |

It's a stupid thing for someone to argue about, but no one is going to hire anyone they do NOT think is "reliable and hard working". I'd make it part of the written job description for the interview, then you can DQ anyone whose work record doesn't fit.

Are these knives for real?? Folks in the UK can't buy a kitchen knife with a point?
Tell me you're joking.
edit: I have carried knives since childhood and have never used one as a weapon. I've checked out your site, too. Beautiful knives!

That's one of the funniest headlines I've read in God knows how long. Yet another example of how this whole political correctness concept has just been taken to the uber extreme.

"It is a murder mystery and political thriller set in a near-future federal Europe where no-one can be "prejudiced from employment for reason of age, race, creed or incompitence [sic]". "
I guess the future is here.

A while back, someone posted an article about the Stab Proof Knives on our knife forum. From what I remember it was to reduce street crime or something like that. I'm not sure how well the plan worked. About 15 minutes on a concrete sidewalk and the stab proof knife could be re-incarnated back to a deadly form Not to mention the probably BILLIONS of existing, pointy kitchen knives already in everyones homes | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
