She's always been one of the "go to" artists on NPR's Saturday Blues which I usually try to listen to. She had a fantastic voice.

Thanks for the link Doc.I told the jammers at our jam last night about her passing and it kinda took the wind out of our sails.
I had met her at her club back in '95 and she was very kind and took the time to stop me as I was walking past to tell me she liked my playing.
That meant alot to a at-the-time 30 year old who had just been back into playing in front of people for 2 years.

She was a very kind,sweet woman and will be missed greatly by the whole blues community and anyone who ever heard her sing.

Oh man. Koko is awesome. I've only recently started getting into her stuff. What a bummer. Rest In Peace sexy girl. You'll be missed.
