I'll get the link later, but Koko Taylor just died due to complications from surgery.  She was 80.

I had met her at her club back in '95 and she was very kind and took the time to stop me as I was walking past to tell me she liked my playing.
That meant alot to a at-the-time 30 year old who had just been back into playing in front of people for 2 years.
She was a very kind,sweet woman and will be missed greatly by the whole blues community and anyone who ever heard her sing.
