Anyone catch what he said about Hannah Storm? Hilarious, but it got him suspended two weeks.
I find him annoying for the most part, but props for telling it like it is about a co-worker.

What was the general gist of it?

It's funny either way though. |

That's it? Really? Well...who cares if she's 47. I totally would, and I'm half her age.

At another level, PTI is a free wheeling, trash-talking show, and I think Kornheiser should be able to tease another broadcaster (if he had dogged another man, no one would have said anything at all.) That said, gender is an issue, and a man passing judgement on a woman's appearance in a way that seems to judge her attractiveness/sexual desirability is a place that any man should avoid in a professional setting.

Looks to be more of a "don't criticize fellow ESPN celebrities" more than a "don't pick on women" thing.

"I'm a sarcastic, subversive guy...I'm a troll, look at me. I have no right to insult what anybody looks like or what anybody wears. That, I think, should go without saying," he said.

That doesn't mean they're the reason he got suspended.
I'm betting if he says the same thing about a female, NON-ESPN anchor... no suspension.

If he said those comments about ANY male, we'd all be laughing and not even blinking an eyelash. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
