Sign in to disble this ad
the screen brightness on my laptop locked on max today and I don't know how to fix it. i used to have it on minimum so suddenly having it on max almost hurts my eyes. any ideas?

it's a toshiba laptop, about 2 yrs old. brightness setting is changed by pressing fn+F6 or fn+F7.

Are you sure it's the screen brightness that's stuck and not the function keys?

I also use a Toshiba laptop. I never knew the keyboard shortcuts for screen brightness. I didn't like how it dimmed when you unplugged it from the power source, so I went and made the changes in the "display" settings.

Maybe give that a shot?

Stewie, you're judgmentally quoting bible verses and you don't even know how to read!

Nothing like turning off and turning on to fix little problems...
