So what did you all think of this years "Last Comic Standing" compared to the other years? I had a feeling Iliza Schlesinger was going to win - she's was the best looking one in a bathing suit too.

My favorites though from the first few episodes were the tall, bald british fellow with the upright bass (of course) and God's Pottery. The bass guy is a very smart comic...Iliza - not so much.
I though the best season was the one with Todd Glass, Alonzo Boden, Gary Gulman, Jon Hefron, etc...

I did lose interest pretty early on this season though...it seemed to me to have to many "challenges" and not enough stand up and got old very fast...very boring

"She says I act like he's my baby every time I see him. Just yesterday she got mad because I was feeding him. I said 'Oh come on. He doesn't care whose breast it is."
The reason it's so funny to me is that I was explaining the operation of a breast pump to a new mother while this was in the background in the room.

I really like John Evans, but he didn't bring his A game and didn't make it out of the hole. It sucks because he's a great comedian. |

I hate to say this, but I think that women comedians normally just don't cut the mustard, with Ellen (the stand up ellen, not the sitcom Ellen) and a few others being the exception. Iliza did a great job as did Marcus with her having to pull out 3 times more material than anyone else.
I liked all of the remaining 5. On that note, I never got last year's winner John Reep. His routine at the finale this year never clicked with the "small town-a-tude" bit. I liked Adam Hunter as well, he just need to turn down the energy from 10 to 9 and put in better transitions between his jokes that went too far left to right in topic.
It has turned into A. Idol with 90 minutes of show, 10 minutes of real content. |

I thought Iliza was the worst of the whole group though. Louis, Jim and Paul were years ahead of her as far as actual humor goes.
This whole season wasnt very good though, they spent way to much time in the first rounds and they came up with the finalists and winner way to quickly.
Also did anyone else think that indian guy with only one routine was the indian Geddy Lee? |
