In the last three months.

I was sitting here thinking about how much life changes in just three months. So I was wondering what the guys and gals of TB have been up to , just to compare how drastically different all our lives are, yet we all share the same passion, bass.

So I'll start: After coming home from a long trip away from home, my girlfriend left without so much as a good bye, I lost my job, but just got a new one and will be starting in Jan, I bought a new bass, an Ibanez SRX 500, it then broke and is in the shop as of yet, interesting how my $200 bass outlives and out plays a $500 one, my truck finally gave out, but im working on a new one, but my favorite part of the last 3 months is that I am now dating a girl who makes the best rice krispies treats EVER, strange I know but I love rice krispies treats, that and my last girlfriend couldn't so much as boil water.
So haw about you folks?

I lost my job, i moved over to the house next door to my parents and i will soon be moving back in, I lost my passenger side mirror on the car, I joined a band, played my first show and now the band has broken up, I went from hating everything I wrote musically to being able to write a lot of stuff I like. I've started another band. One of the bands I'm in is now on hold because the lead singer had a baby last week. My brother went to boot camp and will be coming back over christmas then going to technical school for the air force. My friend got a job then got laid off within the same week. And uh...I still don't have a job.

I got home from Iraq...best part by far....got a new amp and head...fell in love with two more basses...which I have yet to acquire. Started working on writing my own stuff. Got orders to Kadena AB in Japan...****ing SCORE! Fixed a few F-16's. Played crazy games with my son....and had lots of babymaking practice with the wife.

I didn't have girl problems back then.

I'd make a thread about it, but that doesn't seem to fly around here...

Sat in one of several identical rooms reading an assortment of textbooks. A little whiskey thrown in now and then to make me do something stupid to prevent total boredom and burnout.

Or at least, that's all it seems like since finals aren't over yet. I'm sure its not quite that bleak.
