Hi.
One thing that always bugs the crap out of me when searching information over the internet, is that most of the stuff is in for sale listings. Listings that are long gone.
Same with TB, all the meatiest scams and most outrageous DIY instruments or super rare ones: GONE, just the thread about the long gone
nothing remains.
This brings the question I've been meaning to ask for a long time:
Is there a law that prevents pasting the photos and the desriptions to another site, like TB? I do know that everything is a property of someone, but somehow I personally feel that if someone posts something over the internet, it's "public domain".
Alternatively, is there an ethic that somehow restricts the use of listings material, there's usually at least the thread about it?
I've seen some people include the pics or the descriptions when creating the thread, but that's rare IME.
I for one would've liked to see quite a few of the Thunderbirds in various e-bay listings the search has found, and I have saved the ones I've seen, but why isn't it more common.
Also the fraudulent instruments that pop up quite frequently should be shown for the future reference IMO.
If it's a bandwidth issue, I could come up with many "less important" bandwidth wasting thingies

.
Am I alone with this kind of thinking?
Regards
Sam
