Why on earth would you want to do that?

...at least if you're going to buy a PC, use a decent operating system for it.

Srsly. Download Flip4Mac and then you don't need no stinking windows media, which they no longer support in Mac format anyway...

What do you mean you can't uninstall it?

Drag and drop into your trash, and delete. Pretty simple.

There's a windows media player folder, and a prefs folder, and possibly a plist file as well.

Drop on trash can, empty it, done.

Why would you expose a perfectly innocent Mac to the windows virus in the first place?

Windows Media Player is atrocious. No one would use the thing if it didn't come bundled with their computer.

I completely removed Windows Media Player from my XP-based system years ago. (Yes, it can be done.)

I like WMP better than iTunes. But it must be version 10 (latest acceptable version). v11 sucks and was full of bugs when I installed it. WMP 10 hasn't let me down a single time so far.
