That looked bad but I've seen some pretty brutal leg breaks on other youtube video. That one doesn't begin to compare to some.

A couple friends were at the game. When he first missed the pass, apparently is wasn't clear what the issue was. When the replay was shown on the jumbotron, they said most of the Superdome got quiet and had that same "holy crap did I just see that?" look on their face.

I saw the game on TV. The minute he came down you knew he broke it. TV took a break and the announcer warned people who were queasy to turn away before they showed the replay.

Just before the game they were talking about him as a Freshman phenom. I hope it's not a career-ender.

Only other time I've seen a break like that was Joe Theisman. That was hard to watch too.

The guys at work, none of whom are doctors but who follow USM football religiously say it was a freak clean break and that he should be back next season.

Yeah, I remember that like it was yesterday. You could tell LT was pretty upset about it.

Anybody here remember David Busst's horrific leg injury during a Man Utd v. Coventry match in 1996? A quick Google will bring up some details - be warned, graphic content. Probably the worst sporting injury I've ever seen.

There was a bad one on UFC a few weeks ago. A leg kick gone wrong I forgot who it was, I'm sure it's on Youtube.
