I made a post like this once...but it got taken down because people were straying.
I'm just looking for a lesbian bassist to talk to and be friends with. They don't have to be on here, maybe you know them in real life? Just lookin for a friend
Anyone?

Talk about a thread that is wide open for some dirty puns!

But seriously, are you looking for advice on your licks or your fingering technique?
I just find it hard to imagine what a lesbian would have to offer you.... as a bassist.

Lesbians are hard to find.
Girl bass players are even harder to find than lesbians.
Lesbian bass players? That's like finding the holy grail lol.

Any specific reason why you're interested in meeting lesbian bass players? You don't have to answer if you don't want to - I'm just curious.

Well, not a (real) leasbian as i'm a guy. But i can understand the feeling ,as someone from Quebec, i'd feel more at ease playing with quebeckers. I bet it's just the same with her. Having something in common in a band just helps the creativity... to some point.

EDIT: Well i see the grass has been cut under my feet. anyways, my opinion is still valid :P

I know of a few on here, but all much much older than you. I doubt there would be much in common besides being lesbians and bass players....

It's cool I get it.
Lesbians are awesome
Bassists are awesome
Using this mathematical formula...
I'm awesome

I'm a lesbian, I play bass, I'm from Quebec originally, I'm also 60 years old.....do we really have anything in common other than playing bass and being female?

you'd probably be better off looking for bass players on a LGBT type forum i think... As you may have noticed, tb is mostly BLOKES. It can get a bit locker roomy at times

good luck!

She's young. Maybe she is seeking some support and advice with her chosen lifestyle. She may not want to share those kinds of questions and emotions publicly just yet. The bassist part may be an irrelevant detail to the real reasons she's reaching out. If she's tried this post for a second time, there may be some underlying reason beyond what's obvious.
