less money = more gas (economy rant)

Is this how it is with other people, the less money you have the more you want?

I only work between 7 and 14 hours a week, but soon my place of employment will be shut down , for four months or for ever

I've been saving my money for the down time since I first herd about this. Saved money will be going towards bills.

but......

I've some how convinced myself that I need the fallowing toys; 12 string acoustic, a guitar with some type of tremolo, a apartment sized digital piano, ukulele, a pre amp for my bass amp, black nylon strings for my P-bass, Audere preamp for my 5 string j bass, hard shell cases for my gear that have gig bags.

What is wrong with me? I'm complaining about not being able buy a bunch of stuff, when my city has a horribly high unemployment rate, and people can't afford to eat.

****More like a spoiled 21 year old rant****

There is no reaction pic in my photobucket account to accurately express my feelings toward this thread.

The likely answer is that you are trying to distract yourself from finanical and other woes with stuff. It's called "retail therapy".

I haven't actually lived in London in 4 years, I am just too lazy to update that. I live in Kitchener now, which I hate and I will be gone as soon as I graduate school.

I've been to Windsor a couple times now. When I am in Detroit, I run over there to get my codeine Tylenol, Fudgee-O's, and Maynards wine gums.
