i managed to find this gem in there.

totally worth the $5 and exactly what i'd expect from a discount movie bin.

it was both campy an nostalgic. very liberal from the plot of the game, but i can see where the kept with the spirit of making the save the princess video game plot into a more interesting movie.

I've picked up a few gems from the $5 DVD bin at my local Walmart. In the past few months I've picked up A Bridge Too Far, Bullitt, European Vacation, Red Dawn, the original War Of The Worlds, and my latest acquisition, Casablanca.

I read somewhere that the lead actors were inebriated through the entirety of filming for that movie. I obligatorily love it because it's Mario.

It just goes to show how randomness can play out sometimes. That was a great score on your part, but somehow I doubt I'd find it in any other Walmart! I'd love to, though!

Strat, I found my copy in Sturbridge. They had a ton of them. Again, 5 years-ish ago.

It wasn't the only one. Apparently there was a mistake in their shelving notice or something so this was thrown in the $5 bin. The next day it was back in the $15 section.

I understood that. My statement still stands.

I'd be all "tell ya what sport, take this GB2 disc OUT, and I'll pay 20 bucks for the first one."

I always check out the $5 movie bins. Just about anything in there is almost worth it.

I must admit I got the Super Mario Brothers movie from the $5 bin as well.

That movie is worth the price for watching the Late Dennis Hopper trippin off his ass alone!
