OK, they're going to run the Large Hadron Collider at 3.5 TeV (7.0 TeV total) tomorrow. I'd say it's time to put on the tinfoil hats to protect against black holes and/or strange matter. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Thanks for warning about the END OF THE WORLD. Now I need to take advantage of my stomach issue and fart inside a church.

Of course not. We will all be dead by then.

It won't work. The LHC will destroy the world if run at full power. Future scientists know this, and travel back in time to sabotage it whenever they get close. That's why they keep having problems with it.

How can they be from a future that's been destroyed by the LHC?

The future hasn't been destroyed, because they keep sabotaging the LHC. They know enough about physics in the future to know that IF they ran the LHC, it would create a vacuum instability that would destroy the universe.
