Someone broke into my dads car and stole all his CDs, cassettes, and harmonicas.
One of the tapes was the last remaining mix tape from when he was a band. Some dayum good music on there I must admit. Lost forever.
Just thought I'd share. |

most likely somebody living close by on foot
sometimes they just throw out the stuff they don't need or can sell
maybe you will find some tapes tossed somewhere close by
otherwise i have had reel to reel tape masters stolen
that big inch stuff ain't very cheap.

I will say though that it might help to realize what you & your father still have- are you both reasonably healthy? Got good friends/loved ones? Be thankful for the good stuff- that recording is absolutely irreplaceable, but I'm very thankful some tweaker didn't kill the man over it. I also hope things get better for you.
