Oh snap...

I'm glad my cats aren't that big.

o_O

Well, okay, if I could afford it I'd probably have an exotic cat like that, but still!

Not much of a martial artist, is she? She didn't even see that coming

Exactly my thoughts. Trying to mimic the moves of a cat or an elephant with a human skeleton and musculature doesn't seem to me to the best way to exercise fine control over forces and motion. It's a bit like trying to cut your steak with the edge of a spoon. And it looked every bit as dumb as it sounds.

yeah, and that lion is just a young male, judging by the development of his mane.

too bad they didn't have a full grown tiger there for the pic.

don't tell that to chinese martial arts practitioners. a lot of shaolin kung fu is based on animal movements, although i can't imagine "elephant style". i think the goofyness evident there was on the part of that woman's execution.

Poor lion, they should've just left it the hell alone, can't say I feel sorry for Ms. Weird Martial Artist and the magazine guys.

it looked like the lion just wanted to play!

of course, humans just can't handle playing with the big cats, which is one of the many reasons why we should just leave'em alone.
