Thats about it I think, though I only chose one game from each series, for variety.
Assasins Creed 1 could easily have been in place of 2, as Among Thieves could have replaced Drakes Fortune, and some games I didn't mention, like FFVIII, Suikoden 2, 4 & 5, would be on the list ahead of some of these games.

- Started playing when it came out, haven't stopped playing since.
2. Super Smash Brothers Melee (GCN)
- No other fighting game comes close.
3. Shining Force (Genesis)
- Nostalgia kinda boosted it up the list. Could be replaced with Shining Force 2, a better game overall, but it doesn't hold nearly as much value to me as the first one does.
4. Final Fantasy 7 (PS1)
- Many people like to bash this one, but honestly, no other Final Fantasy can touch the 7th.
5. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
- Out of all the games on this list, I've beaten this one the most. Enough to know where every little thing is. Hell, I've even tried some of the handicap challenges.
6. Tales of the Abyss (PS2)
- Excellent story, plot and characters in a JRPG?! Not to mention it has the best battle system out of any RPG I've ever played.
7. Sonic 3 and Knuckles (Genesis)
- The holy grail of the Sonic series. No explanation needed.
8. Pokemon Gold (GBC)
- Added so much more to an already good game. Overall, more polished up and much less glitches compared to the originals.
9. Deus Ex (PC/PS2)
- I've played countless FPS games, but honestly, none of them hold a candle to Deus Ex (except possibly RE4). Extremely immersible and easily the best story in any game.
10. Super Mario 64 (N64)
- The very first game I played in the 3D game era. Extremely revolutionary and sets the bar for all 3D platformers to come. Very memorable too. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
