She was last seen Monday around 3:00 pm. I've actually met her before and my mom used to do volunteer work at this kid's school and knew her from there, so this is hitting real close to home. There have tons of cruisers and sheriff's officers out over the last couple of days, and a police helicopter has been scouring neighborhoods frequently.
Somer's mother is supposed to be on Good Morning America and the Today show this morning. Last night, they held a candelight vigil outisde the family's home and have been passing out fliers all day. Guys and gals, if you wouldn't mind, get this kid's picture out to anyone you know - online, at work, friends, neighbors. By now, it's been almost two days and she could be several states away at this point.
Her name is Somer Thompson, she is 7 years old with brown hair and is 3'7" at 65 lbs.
