Yep, Oh well. I normally say nothing bad about the dead but what's the old Steely Dan line: "Daddy can't get no fine cigar, but we know your smoking wherever you are."

...I thought you'd injured yourself on a knife.

I'm a bit disappointed now.

No man!! I can't afford any downtime. It's not the knives that bite me, it's the machinery I use to make them

Well, all things considered, I'm glad you're all in one piece.

I did some reinactment metalwork for a short time, if you're not careful with those grinders and etc you're just asking for blood on the floor.

I have some SCA guys that come over and use my equipment sometimes. They are always working on their armor, helm grills and weaponry. That's pretty dangerous too, they are always banged up

Yeah, I tried SCA for a short time. I didn't find the combat very fun and definately not worth getting my armour beaten to hell for. It wasn't long after that before I lost interest in most of my former medieval oriented hobbies and sold all my gear. Thank god for that. At a point I was weeks away from moving out of state to apprentice with some dude. I'm very glad that didnt' come to fruition.

The world's a little better place because of his untimely demise.

I wish he was taken out by a Preditor drone. From what I understand that's one thing that sends fear through their bones. A well placed car bomb works OK too. I wonder who infiltrated his securty That took balls.

mmmm... Predator drones...

"On the wings of a snow white dove,
He sends his pure, sweet love,
A sign from above,
On the wings of a dove..."

Screw it, let's turn this into a sword thread!

My absolute favorite weapon in my collection. Building the scabbard for it was a BITCH. Then I found out they released a replica of the scabbard as well. Damn. Not too late to go buy it, heh heh!

Still finishing work on this one...

Trying to figure out how to make the brass fittings on the hilt, but my blade turned out quite close to it.

That's why I didn't join the SCA. I just want to go to ren fests and drink with vikings all day. Much more enjoyable that way.

You DO know that it's completely forbidden to do Gondolin knock-offs, don't you?

Those elven smiths have a VERY strong union, pal. I don't think I'd be posting that on the Internet for Manwë and everyone to see, if I were you.
