Lord knows how many accidents he's caused other people to get into by freaking them out/distracting them. |

Going backwards through the drive through for the win! |

Check Youtube for the Ghostrider videos. He's a european rider who used to race at the Isle of Mann. The first thing he does is gets the police to chase him |

Corner runouts, protective gear, experienced riders, regulation, and it's actually enjoyable for the rider and spectator. Doing this on the street (in traffic) shows little regard for the safety of others, and these guys deserve to have their asses kicked.

I've done it to SOME extent when I had my crotch rockets. I'm sure that most have carved through traffic. But I have a family so.........
The thing is, after seeing it a MILLION times and experienced it myself...... The biker is usually long past the car or cars that he startles or scares off the road. To them, it's really like driving quickly through a series of parked cars. And yes, some endup eating the guardrail or catching the corner of a car. It's never a pretty sight All but the tourists in Florida are used to it, especially during the Daytona weeks. |

At those speeds, it is SOOOO easy to instantly lose control and die. Forget the dodging in and out of traffic, it's the road debris that's gonna kill him.
And whipping between two cars right next to each other.... by the time a typical driver notices, he'll already be ten car lengths ahead! Forget noticing him in your mirrors! You'll never see him coming! |
