| It's a terribly sad tragedy for us hockey fans. I remember Brad McCrimmon, a former Hartford Whaler. Salei, Demitrov, and others. Coaches and players from 10 countries died in that crash.
I suppose we don't know yet if the cause is pilot error or an aircraft failure, or as is likely in air crashes, a combination of breakdowns. But Soviet-era passenger aircraft have a horrendous safety record. |
