I'm taking my son to Cleavland to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Any Cleavlanders with suggestions for things to do. I'm gonna drive out of Staten Island Friday night, rest somewhere out in PA and then get on the road again on Sat morning hoping to get out there by around 2 PM. I am staying Downtown. I'm driving home either Sunday late, again stay over in PA. or I'm gonna boogie out on Monday.
Thanks for the hits.

The house where they filmed A Christmas Story is nearby too I think, and they have a cool little museum thing, my cousin took her kids who are 12 and 10, and they loved it.
The Westside Market is also neat just for something different. |

Cleveland's got a decent art scene if you're looking. |

| | | | In cleveland The best thing to do in Cleveland is the get down on your knees and thank God (or who/whatever one thanks) that you are not in Toledo. A town that was boring to even John Denver. 'Nuf said.

| | I play the electric tuba. | | Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Cleveland | | | Cedar Point is awesome if you like coasters. I mean serious coasters. The Millenium Force was the largest/fastest for years.
The Science Center is right next door to the RnR HOF. It's a standard kind of OMSI place. Does have an IMAX, though.
The Jake is a good baseball field, West Side Market is OK, it doesn't strike me as a tourist spot though.
The Art museum is very nice. And we have a very cool zoo.
If you're a golfer, drive out to Madison and play Thunder Hill. It's brutal. Brutal.
If you want to PM me, I can shoot you my phone # and you can give me a call when you get into town.

The have an Imax theater which is neat for a kid if s/he has never scene. The Corner Alley (W. 6th street) is cool. Great food and bowling in a different (city) environment. Ohio City (W.25th area) has the westside market and across the street you could tour the Great Lakes Brewery and pub. One of the best microbreweries in the county. Another idea would be the Cleveland Art Museum and/or Natural History Musuem (Wade Oval) then shoot down the street to Little Italy for lunch or dinner. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
