i was unplugging the kitchen sink. and apparently part of the clog was a pairing knife

a couple of stitches on my index finger, and a tetanus shot later and no bass playing for me.

anyway the doc says i cannot play bass until i get the stitches out.

on the positive side of things he also told me not to do the dishes

I often ask my wife not to leave knives in the sink. It is way too easy to cut yourself with a blade you can't see.

I hope you heal quickly!

Sharp knives should be washed and put back right away. Not only is it safer, it keeps them sharper, longer.

but according to the infomercial my knives will never dull or rust

i totally agree with the safer thing though.

except for the sharp little SOB knife caught up in the drain hidden by nastiness that my mother was trying to throw down the disposal the sink was empty.

it went down like this. . .

mom: Jon i plugged the kitchen sink, can you fix it?

me: sure

few minutes pass

me: this is disgusting. . .

son of a $%^&* it bit me.

i actually finished unplugging the drain before i realized how bad i was bleeding. the place looked like a crime scene.

That was my first thought as well. Haha

Anywho, heal fast, bro. Enjoy your time of NOT doing dishes!
