I wonder how many well off people still take advantage of our welfare system?

That's a scary thought. If necessity is the mother of invention then greed and laziness must beget scam artists. Or something like that. Profoundness ain't my thing.

Everyone does. Some agent of mine somehow hurt his jaw in an accident. It was classified as a permanent disability, but this is not what happened to him. He receives state disability for life. He just put in a new acct with us and then tried to sell me pain pills in the parking lot because he gets an unlimited license for pain meds.

Everyone does it.

At the height of his fame, Ol Dirty Bastard appeared in an MTV show waiting in line to collect welfare.

From Wikipedia: "Around this time, Jones gained notoriety when, as he was being profiled for an MTV biography, he took two of his thirteen children by limousine to a New York State welfare office to pick up his welfare check; his latest album was still in the top ten of the US charts. The entire incident was filmed by an MTV camera crew and was broadcast nationwide."

I don't know how the $$ was split up among the Wu Tang members but if you divide his cut between 13 kids he may have actually needed it.

Well, he also had 13 kids between I dont know how many women. Child support can be hefty.
