Mainly, I've loved it. Great characters and plotlines. I know it's gotta absurd along the way but I watch shows to be entertained, not to be critical about it. That's why I haven't given up on Heroes |

Im a Heroes fan, not a big LOST fan personally. But I watch because the show is entertaining, its actually one of the few shows Ive ever gone out of my way to watch.
I love how everyone likes to get so critical about it. ITS A FRIGGIN TV SHOW! Enjoy it while it lasts...
And then you have the LOST vs. Heroes people. C'mon folks, the shows are not even on on the same day, why not watch/enjoy both?

They have 3 of the best actors on TV IMO (Terry O'Quinn, Michael Emerson, and Henry Ian Cusick). I've been watching since the first season and I love how some things are getting tied up now that we're getting closer to the final season.
I think negotiating an end date is one of the smartest decisions they could have ever made. I always loved the show, but it was starting to meander along aimlessly. I think the writers knew where they wanted to all along, but they didn't know how long they had to stretch it out. Having an end date has really made the story move along, although I pity anyone who tries to pick up the show now without having watched the previous seasons.

| | | | I got into it late, but I now have seasons 1-4 on DVD and my sons love it as well. I'm waiting until S5 comes out on DVD since it's on during my praise band rehearsal and I just can't bring myself to do the DVR bit, especially during hockey season.
I agree negotiating an end date was very smart for the writers - it allows them to do things on their terms without watering it down too much to stretch it out or completely jumping the shark. I'm really hoping for lots of payoff for the long time watchers (or those who've gone back and watched the old ones) who caught the little details. I've got a hunch it'll outdo even Babylon 5 in that regard. I wish J Michael Stracynsky had been able to have the 5th season of B5 guaranteed so he didn't have to compress things into the end of season 4 and have 5 seem like a little of tying up loose ends and a lot of filler.

| | | | Watched since the beginning and enjoyed although the whole "mystery reveals another mystery= infinity" become tedious to me. It still is one of the best written shows in my opinion.
I hope the ending is not lame, like the X Files or Steven King Movies (a giant spider)
Killing Loch like that was pretty intense. Now who is really the bad guy Wentworth or Henry? |

And I resent Jack Shepherd more with each passing minute. That dude is one seriously over-acted drama queen.
Other people are ok, except for Locke (can't stand people that think they have a mission, think Hitler) + I find all those philosopher/scientist references a bit cheesy.
Ben is my hero.

I swear there wasn't one scene tonight that happened during the same era of history. The other thing I don't like is they're managing to make it confusing without even jumping between the different set of characters. I use to like the show, but I don't find it near as addicting this year.
