Love it! I just watched two episodes last night. www.hulu.com has three years worth of episodes loaded and ready to watch! ( I think I learned to punch the clown in my younger days with visions of Penny and Judy in my head )

Danger Will Robinson!

Wasn't a big fan. It was hard getting used to seeing Lassie's mom stuck up in outer space.
Plus the dad was a dweeb and every week the jerk scientist evil guy would do something stupid, putting the family in danger = predictable.
I think the robot for the show is in the Smithsonian.

A buddy of mine plays in a band with Bill Mumy (Will) on guitar and Miguel Ferrer (Dr Macy in "Crossing Jordan") on drums; The Jenerators

LOVE it

As cheesey as it was, I was very young and impressionable. It was just the right level of scary(to my little mind)to keep me coming back. LOVE the background music, which reverberates around the dim recesses of my childish mind even now- like a runaway analog delay self-oscillating into oblivion...
We recently got the first 2 seasons via netflix- the behind-the-scenes stuff & pre-debut trailers were very amusing, particularly when CBS sold it as 'serious'.

Damn... you guys are old.

My childhood memories are Transformers, early Pokemon, and the early Superhero cartoons.

...I'm gonna get flamed for this, and no backup to be found anywhere.

Not at all! I have the same childhood memories! Someone my family knows had purchased a BUNCH of the epidoes on tape, and she lent them to us for the longest time. Basically most of season 1 and 2. I've only recently seen the rest of both seasons and finally started season 3

I quite agree. I mean, it was an alright movie at best if it was standalone, but I think it was a poor attempt at creating a movie based on the show. The comedy that Dr. Smith and The Robot brought in was just completely absent from the movie, it was sad. That being said, for my own entertainment I wouldn't mind a sequel

In addition, around 2002 they had planned to make a movie to sort of finish off the TV series (as far as I know, I may be wrong about this to some extent), but Jonathan Harris (Dr. Smith) passed away just as they were about to do it. Quite sad...
You can still find some funny clips of Jonathan Harris on YouTube

The guy that played Dr. Smith once hit on a keyboardist friend of mine when he was a young dude.

"Oh, the pain!"

Cat Woman on the original "ZING", "ZOWIE" Batman was the one I would have taken. And any of you old UK'er's - Emma Peel from "The Avengers" was insane hot.

Back to Lost in Space though - I loved that show and it didn't deserve my love. Also did you guys know Billy Mumy was practically in the band "America"? He was really tight with those guys and I'm pretty sure he's at least, an okay musician.

Her outfits were amazing to say the least.

Then we had Seven of nine, hottest Borg ever!

Ouch. It actually hurts to look at that. But not that bad. Thanks.

Yeah apparently Billy Mumy is a somewhat popular musician. I forget what I heard that he had released, but yeah.

What did you guys think of the Season 3 changes? The whole dropping of the "To be continued" sequence, and the different theme song?
My personal opinion: I really enjoyed the whole "To be continued" sequence, I thought it was a great way to keep people wondering what happened next time. Especially since there wasn't any other kind of continuity between episodes, besides the reference here and there. As for the theme song? I honestly think the original theme song was a much cooler piece of music, but I still love them both. I know it's not something most people would sit down and listen to, but I think it's really cool to see what John Williams did in his earlier days. The first one especially is quite a difficult piece of music. I've tried learning the melody on my bass by ear, and it's quite difficult! The season 3 song I was able to pick up. Strange that they would change it.

Also disappointed by the cancellation of the show! I think they could've at least ended it off somehow...

We all hated the "to be continued" when they'd say it at the end of the episode, but we loved it, if you know what I mean. Didn't they kind of remind you about what happened in the previous episode before they got started?

Yeah. I thought it was really cool! I know what you mean though, it's annoying when the episode ended and you wanted to see what happened next.
