Lots of snow in Connecticut!

Well, at least this part of CT. I went to sleep last night at 12 and there wasn't much snow on the ground (other than the previous week's foot), and I woke up this morning to find more than a foot on top of what was already there. This was a complete surprise, as all the weather reports said the snow was gonna end before dawn, and that we'd only get maybe 8 inches or so.
My father had to snowblow his way around the barn to get the plow truck out, but it looks like there's too much snow to plow, and no place to plow it (all of last week's snow is piled up along the driveway). He's snowblowing all 1000 feet of the driveway now. I haven't seen this much snow in years, so I'm gonna go play in it later. Here's some pictures for y'all to enjoy.

Can't see out the door!

That's a 4 foot high shrub in the front. You can see the very corner of the garden's gate behind it.

He's at the bottom of the hill, the snow looks a bit deeper than it is.

Couldn't reach the coal ash can this morning.

Last one for now. I'll take more if I manage to get outside.

It's pretty much the same all over the NE. We're just as buried up here in Central Massachusetts.

Nice pics BTW.

Not much I can help with here. No one actually shovels at our house. Only one of our snowblowers is big enough to bother using on the driveway, and we only have one plow truck. Anyway, he's done with the driveway, now it's time for our 3 rental properties. The city probably plowed the snow up onto the sidewalk again.
