Can't you just picture those homes as little enclaves of mind control?

| | | | Man, Apple really needs to get over whatever kind of pissing war they have with Adobe. I can watch MOST videos on my iPad, but not this one.
It's my only complaint about Apples mobile devices.
Though I do love Louis Black.

Can't you just picture those homes as little enclaves of mind control? | I call them the "Sheila Broflovski-types" - self-important moral police officers who want to return to the family values of the Leave It To Beaver generation...which of course, is a metanarrative in itself. The show Man Men is pretty much a deconstruction of how the middle of the century was not the great good ol' days that people like to romanticize it as. The Sheila Broflovski-types often use the "think of the children" argument as a proxy to push their agenda.
The idea that seeing Chaz Bono on a television show will lead people to get reassignment surgery is laughable to anyone who has actually studied human sexuality. And Lewis beautifully pointed out the glaring hypocrisy of having a bunch of criminals and scumbags on that show, which didn't garner as much as an eyeblink from the morality police.

Funny thing I've been noticing as of late, about the morality police. They seem to only show up when it involves what people, (primarily legal adults), are doing with their genitalia, especially when it comes to homosexuality, and what they perceive to be homosexual behavior.
