I think thats a hard one to answer.

Id say its a learnt one overall, but based on inherent behavior.

If you catch my drift?

Inherent.

This has been proven. It is due to oxytocin in your brain more or less, without me going into great detail.

Inherent, you just have to learn to be good at it.

Definitely NOT learned. It's an instinct, one of those things that evolves inside of you.

Yes. We live in a world that sends confusing and conflicting messages about what love is, what it is supposed to be and how it's supposed to "feel".

The over-romanticized, over-internalized, and over-emotionalized claptrap being sold to the all-to-willing-to-consume public is a huge stumbling block. It also makes a ton of money.

MM I'm a reasonably new aficionado here at OT - I have to say I find your threads both hilarious and disturbing at the same time.

Didn't your mother teach you any of these things.

The answer to this question is directly proportional to the amount of sex a person is having. The more sex, the more love and the reciprocal inverse.

We ARE love.

To say we need to learn love is to say we need to learn to be a human, or to breathe .

Inherent, instictive, innate....not learned. I wasn't sure until I had children.

The desire to live with other people is inherent... part of our being. But to answer this question, yes you do have to find out what it takes to be with the people you are attracted to.... but you don't have to learn the attraction.
