Did she entertain herself by listening to records by The Turtles? I guess the first song they played after finder her was "Happy Together" by The Turtles (about as close to a tortoise as it gets in the music world.)

I wonder if the tortoise had its own little top-hat and cane? I couldn't resist, especially after seeing the story comments; ya just cannot help but think about that 1955 WB cartoon.
