I concur,

the sad thing is, it could have been good, and the beginning gave me such hope. it then faded into the "huh?" zone, which made it a 10.00 I'll never get back issue!

well with a "review" like that, what response did you expect?

And, I take it you missed the other 2 threads about the movie from a couple weeks ago?

No biggie man, but wishing career-death is kinda harsh, don'tcha think? So you don't like his movies...why'd you bother with this one then?

Nah. I haven't seen it and have no plans. I concluded that the 6th sense was a fluke round about the time Unbreakable came out. I'm not a fan.

Actually,i wasn't aware that it had been out that long.I dont really mind his other movies,we kinda watched it on a whim.It was just shockingly BAD.
I can't see him being "allowed" to write, produce and direct anything else.

I hear ya. I haven't seen it yet, but many people I trust on and off the boards have the same general conscensus...regardless of my quasi-defense of his efforts in the other threads, I guess I am not into seeing this one anymore. Bummer.

Theres a theory going around that this movie was made to be horrible on purpose.I can't find any reason to support this, though as crappy as it was,it seems like it could be plausable...

Yeah, that was after Sixth Sense and it stunk on ice. Well, perhaps because it followed Sixth Sense and the expectations were so high, but seriously each movie gets worse.

To each his own. But yeah after that, Signs was meh, then I actually haven't seen anything since then. Heard bad things though.

Let's give the man a little credit, at least every M. Night Shyamalan movie, to date, has made more sense than Scientology.

I think you give him far too much credit.

He was an epic fail WITH "Sixth Sense"...didn't take myself or my ex 10 minutes to unravel the "twist", after which the rest of the movie plain sucked.

Refuse to ever watch another movie he is a participant in.
