where can i buy a replacement power adapter for my macbook for less than $80?

mine is #$%^#$ up, and i cannot get it charge the battery; unless i am constantly jiggling the cord, and plugging it in and removing it. Im pretty sure I wrapped my power adapter improperly in haste after finals ,and broke some of the connectors inside the cable itself. it is totally my fault, but i gotta have my laptop back before classes start up again.

Craigslist. How old is it? Might be under warranty, or even a recall.

i have owned it for a year and last time i checked warranties do not cover user error.

it doesn't hurt to check so i will take it in to the apple store on my earliest convenience.

Are you by any chance a college student or teacher? Is anyone in your family in university or teaching? You can save a few dollars with the educational discount. It's not much, but it's better than full price.
