Cheeserolling went ahead today at Cooper's Hill Gloucester...

one absolutely mad sport and long may it continue...

I was mad enough to do it back in the late 70's

the hill is just a couple of degrees shy of officially being shown on the maps as a cliff... in places on that course, it's 1 in 1... a 45 degree slope...

I really, really want to give that a go, but I fear my centre of gravity may be a little high - it might be worth risking injury for that much cheese though.
