She looks good both ways. I don't think the surgery was necessarily an improvement . . . just different.

Way to go from a face with personality to a face that says nothing. Plastic surgery CANNOT make a human being look better, only worse. Look at this stupid girl Heidi Montag, who went from pretty to really bad looking.

She looks really haggard in the first set of pictures. Not ugly, just like she needs a decent night's sleep, or at least a cup of coffee and a shower.

Making an apple into an apple pie is one thing, but making it into an orange is a fail.

I had a friend who did this type of work. He learned a lot of it in the military rebuilding people who took major hits in combat or in accidents. The good thing about people who pay for this sort of stuff is their fees frequently help subsidize work on children with birth defects, injured service people and accident victims.

As usual with PS before and after pics, it is not a valid comparison. Different hair, clothes, makeup, background, lighting, angles etc. There may be some shopping in the after pic too, it is pretty common.

It is quite obvious that they did a lot of jawline work, maybe a sliding genioplasty plus grinding along the jaw plus some work on the masseter muscle. The forehead work was probably just burring the brows and a lift. Appears to be quite a tight face/neck lift. She may regain some character over some time but maybe not...never the same for sure. Also with that amount of work, it is very possible to have post surgical complications that will not be obvious in a photograph.

that's what i see too.

what strikes me as sad is that this woman thought the way she looked before wasn't good enough. who knows, maybe she wants to go into a career where how she looked before wouldn't be good enough, but i think she looked fantastic before. given she had no obvious birth defects or had a nasty accident, it really is too bad that her youthful beauty wasn't satisfying to her.

I think she looks like a completely different person now, but definitely much more attractive.
