Let it be known I was the " Hard Rockin Seminarian" . Sadly my musical passions were not viewed positively and in one house of formation my nurisment of Metallica was cut off offically although I did particpate in the contraband of the music when my Rector was not to be found. In the First Monastery I lived in I infact had this on my door

This was me in my METAL habbit

So you can tell a monk apart from a surfer when they're both dressed in surf gear?

Yeah, because the monk has robes over his surf gear.
