Haha, but seriously, I'm looking for some insight on this decision.
Basically, I moved from Nashville, TN back to Parkersburg, WV (where I first started my college career, and yes, I know that this move in itself makes me a jackass.) for a lot of dumb reasons, the worst of all being for a girl. Needless to say after about a month every one of these reasons fell through and I found myself hating it here again. This was in March. Now I'm looking for someone to take over my part in my lease, which has been given the ok by my landlord and roommates, and get out of here and on with my life.
I've got a couple options as far as where to go from here:
1. Nashville. This is my first choice as far as what I want, it may not be the best decision for me financially, but that's where I want to go, back to all of my friends, good record stores, good bars and a great music scene.
2. Ft. Mill, SC. This is where my parents currently live. It's about 10 min. from Charlotte, and while I don't really want to go there because I don't really know anyone there, but I've heard good things about Charlotte, it's got to have some cool stuff going on and my parents said that they would pay all of the rest of my school. Currently they are helping me with school, but by living there I wouldn't have to pay for any of it, which = no more student loans.
3. Any other suggestions?
4. Carrots.

I've heard good things about Charlotte as well, but I have never even been to the state of NC before.

Or doesn't that even figure into it for you?
All other considerations being equal (which of course they usually are not), I would say: Opt in favor of whichever choice will give you the best long-range educational advantages, with the availability of financial support being your next priority.
Don't be short-sighted about this. Make the sacrifices now to invest in your future...so you won't have to devote many years to playing catch-up in the future. A word to the wise...

If it weren't for having an eight year relationship that I wish to maintain, I would leave Charlotte in a second (she can't leave with me yet - tending to an ailing parent). There are some good things here, but I have had enough.
I went back to my parents house when I was 20. It was one of the stupidest most chickens#!t things I ever did. Should have stayed in California ....
