Ok folks. I can't hold it in anymore. I have to shout it to the world. I owe this thread to all my gay brothers and sisters that have been brave enough to step forward and announce to the world who they are. Here's my announcement to the world.

I love women's figure skating!.

Now now. Before you all get on the bandwagon to support me, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, big deal, we all know how many sexy asians there are in women's figure skating. We know why you like it Maki, but before you jump on board to pat me on the back and tell me everything's going to be ok. I have to elaborate.

I just realized that I love women's figure skating AND I was watching it while wearing........

SLIPPERS!!!!

So folks if you like women's figure skating and slippers. Please share your thoughts and experiences. All slipper pictures welcome. No haters here. Please let's try to keep this from getting political.

I do love women's figure skating, but am no longer allowed to own slippers. The last pair I had stunk so friggin bad (Yes, even after a trip through the laundry) that my wife vowed that I shall never own a pair of slippers ever again.

I do have some awesome ragg wool socks, but they have proven to be hazardous when combined with alcohol and stairs.

I just watch it for lusting purposes. Perfect bods moving, turning and twisting. I'm a pig hiding behind a "cultured" mask.

BTW - the slippers are marginally acceptable, but two different colored socks does seem to indicate something. Not sure what, I'll have to get back to you on that.

Actually, that deserves an upgrade from the regular to the silver mancard.

I always wear identical socks.... because all my socks are the same.

But this begs the question - do you wear those always-matching socks while watching Gilmore Girls??

It's a bad idea to wear socks while sitting in bathtub with bathing salts and surrounded by scenting candles.

I, too, enjoy watching women's figure skating.

I grew up playing ice hockey, and as a result, spent a lot of time hanging around ice rinks and figure skater chicks. I quickly developed a fondness for the curvy, muscular thighs and butts that delvelop from skating fast and jumping through the roof. I still admire those attributes to this day. Mmmm...memories...

Slippers make my feet too damn hot, but if it works for you, I won't knock it.

Man- a couple more threads like this & I'll never hit 13,000 posts(I'm stalled at 12,997 and meandering in OT limbo-land like a drunken figure skater- and I am NOT wearing slippers).

Congratulations on coming out, good for you! I know first hand how liberating it feels to let everyone know that sort of thing. have you told your friends & family yet? when I came out I had a really hard time finding ways of breaking it to people. it’s different for everyone. when I did it I would like to drop little hints here and there, you know you might say, I think I’ll go slipper shopping today. also you could always leave some tapes of the said accounts lying around for people to find. the idea is to leave a trail of evidence to essentially out yourself, that way when you do tell people they will be no less surprised then all of us here at talkbass.
good luck and congratulations!

Samantha.

One thing I've noticed is our figure skaters are considerably more hot than our Bobsledders

I heart:

Womens figure skating
Cool socks (not just plain white or black ones in other words. If they have toes, rainbow colors, animals, stripes, or other stuff, they are cool as hell, and I like em.)
Slippers (they're friggin awesome for winter time)
