It's great that he died and all, but it's just another example of how sex offenders always re-offend and that they should be locked up for life or put to death. What good does it do to "register" anyway. We have a registered offender not far from our house. You can bet I keep an eye on my daughter. It's one of the few things that make me consider owning a gun.

I firmly agree that he got what he deserved - and not soon enough.

Sex offenders don't always re-offend. Many of those labeled as sex offenders got that label from completely unrelated offenses, such as peeing on the sidewalk...no kidding. But I do agree that those offenders who really deserve the label have a high repeat rate...and our penal system does very little to reform or correct - all it does is warehouse people and give them a chance to learn new offenses from the population they're housed with.
