I decided to not go to prom.
If someone offered you the money you'd spend on prom to not go, would you take it?
Is it really worth it then?
I invested that money into a new bass that I've needed for a while.

My date and i were in the middle of a fight for my prom. We at least agreed to shut up about it, but boy was it tense.

And no relief came from it either.

Bum night for me.

It was many years ago, but I chose to go to a Padres game instead of prom.

I didn't go to my prom either. The idea of spending that much money to spend time with a group of people that I'm not very fond of was a lose-lose situation for me so I opted to not go. I didn't go to my commencement either (the part where you walk across the stage to get your diploma). I went to the Remus Lupins concert instead.

My Junior prom was far better than my Senior prom for many reasons. Same girl both times, we just decided to fight on the second one.

Yes.
It would suck to have a girlfriend that would make me have to pay to go to a place to do something I don't do with a bunch of people I hate.
But now that I think of it there is a girl I like and I don't want another guy to take her, maybe I should go.

I missed my proms because I was out playing at other proms.
I can't dance worth a poo anyways (w/o a bass!)

At the after party of my prom, my date ended up making out with one of my best friends. Good time otherwise.

Fair enough. Then again, I had a very different outlook. I like wearing a tuxedo, making a fool of myself on a dancefloor and I can have fun with pretty much anyone. I think between sophomore year and graduation I went to six different junior and senior proms.

Wow! What an awesome time. Of those of you that are thinking of going, it's worth it. I had a blast and she had a great time too. And don't worry about dancing, just move too the music and hold on to the girl. But it's totaly worth it, expessially if the girl is one you really like.

By the way, the after party was just as much fun as well, but I was so nervous from the dance and dinner that I was dead dog tierd by the end (I got home at five o'clock this morning, and have been sleeping all day).
