I dig it. It's got sexy asian chicks in it. But I like the artwork and graphics too though. I get a log of Manga and stuff in Japan. My favorite dude is Miyazaki. Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away. That stuff is amazing.

True story -

I was in Akihabara with some friends this past summer and we stopped at this four-story building that had a different shop on each floor. Before going in, I noticed the Japanese girls that were with us stopped dead in their tracks at the entrance and loitered around outside. So, we thought nothing of it and went inside. We browse a bit on the first floor which sold video games and see a couple of hentai games in the used bins. I thought it was pretty funny because there were younger kids walking around browsing for random stuff. So... we go up the flight of stairs and bam! a hentai-manga shop right above the video game store. I noticed the girls outside were laughing, so I kept my peering-through-the-glass-at-the-Japanese-guys-inside to a minimum of about 5 seconds before running back down the stairs to play up the "dumb foreigner learning your language thing." 'twas a fun day and night.

...anywho

Like alcohol and gambling, anime is good in moderation. Watch it too much and you're going to develop some social problems.

Man , you miyazaki fans , need to try some other stuff too .

You guys should really check out some of the following , depending on which genre your into ;

Action/Violence : Karas , Area 88 , Get Backers ,
Fantasy : Last Exile , Escaflowne , Wolf's Rain .
Philo : Ghost in the Shell , Cowboy Bebop , RahXephon .
Sci-Fi : Ghost in the Shell again , Witch Hunter Robin .
Horror : Monster , Elfen Lied .
Fun/Humor : Great Teacher Onizuka , BECK , Azumanga Daioh .

It's stupid, very very stupid, flame if you want, it's not gonna change my opinion.

Ever since pokemon/digimon/dragon ball z watching in my grade 2-4 youth I haven't watched it, and I HATE it now.

Way too cheesy, filled with annoying characters, yelling is abundant, stupid violence is abundant, too much trying to act "cute" pfffft it just is SO dumb.

Macross (Macross Plus etc etc)
Black Jack

+ so many more

I was a massive Transformers fan in my younger days (still am!), and I think thats part of the reason I got ito anime (+ alot of the other cartoons back in the late 80s and early 90s )
