Man leaves cat behind to burn.

Arizona wildfire forces full evacuation of two cities - CNN.com

What's wrong with these people? I hope the cat escapes to a good home and his house burns to the ground. He left the cat and all his family photos to burn, but he saved his Xbox, which of course is irreplaceable

Cats can look after themselves. Maybe it was outside the house when they were packing and didn't turn up before they had to leave?

The cat might've deserved it.

Don't get me wrong; I'm very much a cat person, but they can be...vindictive...

So true! I love cats, but get on one's bad side, and you might as well buy a big cat hating dog....

Treat a dog well, they think you are the king.

Treat a cat well, they think they are the king.

That's why I like dogs. A dog would never bite me for just scratching his head at a random moment or if he doesn't feel like it.

Because cats obviously jump in your arms if you run towards them in a burning room?

Doesn't mean I'll go risking my life to chase down a scared cat in a burning house.
